The project partners met in Sant Cugat on the 22nd and 23rd of March for the NewTREND 4th General Assembly. The entire first day and half of the second was devoted to a review of the WPs progress, while on the afternoon of the second day, the team visited the Sant Cugat Demo site.
The meeting venue was Hotel Sant Cugat, where all the partners gathered on the first day to have a fruitful discussion on the technical part of the project. The way forward for each work package was decided. After the positive outputs of the meeting the consortium went to visit Sant Cugat; in particular they had the chance to enter inside the Royal Monastery. The monastic complex, founded in the 9th C, is one of the greatest examples of medieval art in Catalonia and a symbol of the city.
A well deserved typical dinner was consumed at Restaurant el Meson, located in the city centre.
On the 23rd, after a morning dedicated to dissemination strategies and updates regarding the demo sites, all NewTREND team had the great opportunity to visit the Sant Cugat pilots, Pins del Vallès School and the rental housing in Mar de la Xina.
