On the 28th and 29th of September, NewTREND consortium met in Helsinki for the General Assembly. The meeting was kindly hosted by Granlund, in their offices located at Malminkaari.
Following the coordinator idea, on Day 1 there were short WP presentations to sum up key information on deliverable results and progress, in order to have all the partners on the same page on where the project stands.
In the second part of the 28th afternoon, following an introduction to the proposed NewTREND methodology and Use Case definitions, partners split into four groups to review and prepare feedbacks on specific areas regarding integrated design methodology. The results were later collated by leaders of WP1-2.
After a long and fruitful first day, the NewTREND team was treated with a typical Finnish dinner at Aino restaurant, located in the centre of Helsinki.
The 29th morning started with an analysis of the demo sites; in particular a representative from City of Seinäjoki gave a presentation about the Finnish pilot, as well as Davor Stjelja, from Granlund.
The consortium then was divided into 2 groups: Technical and Stakeholder Engagement to discuss future actions and next steps. After lunch, where the NewTREND team was reunited, the assembly was closed.
